This is a third picture from my photoshot with ~KungArtano at Uppcon 12 in sweden this June, and as the title implies I am waiting, not in the picutre but right now. I had a photoshoot a few weeks back at Närcon also in sweden with Renegade makeup and my M-76 Revenant, but the guy who took the photos is a busy guy and I haven't recieved any of the photos as of now, but they will come, and they will be awsome.
Non of the above actually, it's made from EVA foam, the kind found in puzzle mats for gym floors (12mm or 1/2" thick) It's fairly wasy too work with and it gives a pretty much undestroyable cosplay, I've beaten mine, abused it, and tried to cram it into a too small bag, only thing that happens to it is that the paint peels off.
fantastic!! i am in the works of creating my boyfriend a Judge Gabranth cosplay from ff12 for a gathering my friends are doing together. Trying to figure out which method would be the best ^.^ wonderful cosplays by the way, a definite watch
Oh ok nice, I'd say that either like thin craftfoam or Wonderflex is the best suited material for that cosplay since the EVa foam makes it look alot thicker/sci-fi-ish than the metal it is supposed too look like for that cosplay. Also I think that Wonderflex is easier to form into the proper shapes and make them stay there, the EVA is quite stubborn in keeping it's shape, which in turn makes it unsuitible for that kind of shapes like the chest armor and shoulder guards. And thank you for the watch <3
With this kind of thing you just have to be patient and have a winner mentality (this is probably the most important thing). My Shepard cosplay was the first armor cosplay I ever did, and the rifle is the first ever prop I've done, so I was going in blind aswell ^^
